Hi all i thought i would start a blog about my journey into being a nail technician, and why i choose to have a career change.
I had spent 10 years as a senior carer in the community but had problems with my back, after slipping the same disk twice i was left with a right sided weakness which would never go away.
I left care work through health reasons, and moved to Scotland 10 months after arriving in Scotland i qualified as Nail tech with a Level 3 Diploma and gaining a distinction.
As you can imagine i was over the moon with qualifing and decided to look into more courses and funding as i was still unemployed at this time, and told i could never return to care work because of my back.
I booked myself on a nail course in Glasgow with NSI and learnt how to do Hollywood Toes, which i really enjoyed learning.
